Ian Nelson to be portraying young Derek Hale

Ian Nelson, who you might know from The Hunger Games will be portraying young Derek Hale;

There’s a new pup in town!

Teen Wolf returns for its highly anticipated third season on June 3 and will be delving even deeper into our Beacon Hills’ favorites’ pasts. First up? Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin)!

Ian Nelson has been cast to play young Derek in the MTV hit’s flashback episode (the eighth episode of the season), we’ve exclusively learned.
But don’t expect to see the same intense and broody Derek we all know and love today as Nelson plays Derek at 15 years old, when he was a popular and charming star athlete; this is Derek before disaster struck his family, turning him into a lone werewolf always in search of a new pack.

In the same episode, viewers will also be meeting Derek’s mother Talia, who is a strong and deadly alpha werewolf, and his older sister Laura, a beautiful beta who has the potential to become an alpha.

Nelson is best known for his role as the tribute from District 3 in The Hunger Games.

Teen Wolf returns Monday, June 3 on MTV.

Gage Golightly (Erica) not returning for Teen Wolf Season 3

After Colton leaving Teen Wolf, also Gage Golightly, who plays the female wolf Erica Reyes, will not be returning for the third season of Teen Wolf. I am so sad to share this with you, ’cause this sure doesn’t do any good for Teen Wolf in my opinion. I just hope everything will turn out okay, and that we can enjoy Teen Wolf and its cast for a long time!

Fans of MTV’s breakout supernatural scripted series Teen Wolf have another character that won’t be returning for Season 3 when it airs this summer. In addition to the hunky Colton Haynes departing (SEASON 2 SPOILER ALERT) after his character Jackson Whittemore was killed off in last season’s finale, the show will also be diminished in babeness because Gage Golightly (who plays sexy blonde Erica) will not be back either.
There were rumors swirling about Golightly’s departure for some time, and Teen Wolf Wikia admin Paul.rea had had enough. He contacted Golightly’s agent asking for an interview and received this response from her manager:

“Hi Paul –
Kim Callahan here, Gage’s manager.
Gage isn’t doing any press right now and is no longer on TEEN WOLF series either so not doing any press or interviews for the show.
Thanks for reaching out though!
Kim”
That sounds pretty definitive! Seemingly confirming the news was Golightly’s (former?) co-star Stephen Lunsford, who was asked this question on his Tumblr blog: “you wouldn’t happen to know anything about Gage not coming back for TW this season, would you? bc wow I’m sad.” To which Lunsford responded by writing, “I know she isn’t, but I thought that was old news.”

A commenter with the user name TheUnknownVoiceWithReason seemed to sum up male Teen Wolf fan perspective perfectly:
This is freakin crazy man! I’m losing all the characters I just got interested in. Every big speculation is totally blown now. Those speculations were “What’s going to happen to Boyd and Erica” and “What’s next for Jackson now that he’s a werewolf?” Both question are GONE as in GONE GONE. And she was sooooo hot! I mean we still have Lydia, but Erica was some hot stuff I’m just saying! SMH.

Teen Wolf’s Colton Haynes Joins Arrow As… Roy Harper!!!!

It is confirmed! Colton Haynes (Jackson) joins the cast of Arrow as Roy Harper! His role will be recurring;

TV Guide Magazine posted some exciting news tonight: Well, before that we’ll have to admit being a little wrong… thinking the guy in the new screen captures for “Year’s End” might be Roy Harper… because he’s not!

TV Guide Magazine instead has revealed that Roy Harper is coming, but he’ll be played by popular Teen Wolf actor Colton Haynes in what will be a recurring role. As expected, Roy will be a love interest for Willa Holland’s Thea, and that they will cross paths in “an unexpected way.” TVGM also states that Roy is “destined to become a significant part of her life and an important player in the larger world of Arrow.” He’s also described as a handsome, street-savvy teenager from the Glades area of Starling City.

You like this news? We like this news. You can read the TV Guide Magazine piece, which includes a quote from Greg Berlanti, here.

UPDATE: THR is saying that Haynes will make his first Arrow appearance in the February 20, 2013 episode, which is called “Dodger.”

Also I’d like to note that Executive Producer Jeff Davis has deleted is twitter. It’s NOT confirmed, but I can’t seem to find his account under @JeffDavis75. Let’s just hope he’ll be back soon! We love you Jeff!

Some people might or might not agree with the decisions the cast and crew have made, and I would like say that it’s impossible for the cast and crew to please every single person, but they do the best they can. I can understand that some people might disagree with some of the choices the cast and crew have made, but picking fights and insulting people is just rude and unacceptable! Please respect the choices of Jeff Davis and any other cast/crew member!
You are allowed to have your opinion, obviously, but the cast and crew are doing all they can to please us, the fans, the viewers! So please respect them and their decisions!

Haley Webb Joins Teen Wolf in Recurring Role

We have a bit of casting news for Season 3 of MTV’s “Teen Wolf.” Haley Webb (The Final Destination) has signed on for a recurring role that is rumored to be a new love interest for Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin). Webb joins twins Charlie and Max Carver, Adelaide Kane, and Felisha Terrell.

The Carvers, who played the Scavo twins on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” will play another set of twins, this time identical twin alpha werewolves Ethan and Aidan, dangerous charmers with brilliant minds. Kane (“Neighbours”) will play Cora, a mysterious and beautiful young woman toughened by a life on her own who has secret ties to Beacon Hills, while Terrell is set to portray Kali, a ruthless and sexy alpha werewolf who invades Beacon Hills.

As the super-sized Season 3 (featuring 24 episodes) picks up, things are looking pretty grim for the gang, especially Isaac (Daniel Sharman), whose bloody, unconscious body is awoken (with jumper cables no less) by a girl we haven’t yet met, and once he’s able to orient himself, he’s told by the shadowy figure that his memories have been sapped from him.

“Teen Wolf” stars Tyler Posey (Scott McCall), Crystal Reed (Allison Argent), Tyler Hoechlin (Derek Hale), Dylan O’Brien (Stiles), and Holland Roden (Lydia Martin).

‘TEEN WOLF’ STAR Holland Roden SUED By Bitter Ex-Managers … Where’s Our ‘Wolf’ Money?

“Teen Wolf” was Holland Roden’s BIG BREAK in Hollywood — but after season 1 she ditched the team that got her the job AND stopped paying them for the series … this according to a new lawsuit.

Holland — who plays bratty Lydia on the hit MTV show — is being sued by Luber Roklin Entertainment … which claims it entered an oral agreement with the actress in Dec. 2009 to manage her career.

In the docs, filed this month, LRE says it helped Holland score the “Teen Wolf” role in 2010 — and Holland rightfully paid LRE 10% of her hard-earned salary for the whole first season.

But in 2011, LRE claims Holland ditched the company — and stopped all payments from her “Teen Wolf” money … despite the oral agreement.

LRE is suing for breach of contract — and wants 10% of EVERYTHING Holland earns from the series.

A judge has yet to rule.

‘Teen Wolf’ Season 3 spoilers: Colton Haynes to exit Beacon Hills

Yes, it’s confirmed. Colton Hayne, who plays Jackson Whittemore, will be leaving Teen Wolf. I am very, very shocked and sad to read this, ’cause obviously I did not want this to be true. I loved Jackson in season 2, and I was convinced he would have a HUGE storyline next season. Colton, I wish you the best of luck, you’re amazing! <3

Zap2it confirmed it;

We’ve got some sad news for “Teen Wolf” fans. Colton Haynes has confirmed that he won’t be returning to the series for its third season, set to debut next summer on MTV. “These past few yrs have been the best of my life,” Haynes tweeted to fans on Thursday. “I’m sad that this chapter has ended, but excited for a new one to begin. Thx for the love.”

Despite rumors that Haynes was “forced out” of the show, sources close to the show tell Zap2it that the team at MTV wanted to find a way to keep Haynes on board, but salary negotiations came to an unfortunate standstill, despite a lucrative offer. The sources say that he is always welcome to come back to the show.
