Fall Rush Video Interview: Dylan O’Brien (‘Teen Wolf’) Talks Season 2
When Ology rocked the black carpet for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, we got chummy with all of the stars in the entertainment galaxy, from Entourage, Awkward., The Real World, and more- yet when we spotted one familiar face (we’ve interviewed him before!), we knew we’d have to get the details on the upcoming season of his hit series Teen Wolf.
Although Fall Rush is all about upcoming series this September, we had to present a nice bonus for all the loyal readers our there. Dylan O’Brien stopped exclusively by Ology’s spot on the carpet to chat with editor Terron R. Moore all about Teen Wolf: from where he was when he found out he still had a job to whether or not fans will get the chance to catch him shirtless next season. We also asked him about his personal ology, and you’ll be surprised at his answer! Enjoy the interview below and look in the background- you’ll see Keahu Kahuanui, who plays Danny!
Desiree has made me another amazing layout <33 This layout is featured Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Tyler Hoechlin with the colors that represent the fall since it's September already! <3 I hope you guys love it! Let me know if there are any errors/problems.
IAE Magazine sat down with Jeff Davis to talk about Teen Wolf and Criminal Minds;
Creating a hit television show is not an easy feat, but successful birthing two hit shows makes you
somewhat of a creative writing genius, and that’s exactly what Jeff Davis has done.
In this I Am Entertainment exclusive, Jeff shares how one comes up with shows like CRIMINAL
MINDS and MTV’s TEEN WOLF, and why he chose writing for television over film.
IAE: Where are you from and what led to your interest in a career in the film business?
JD: I’m from Connecticut and I started writing in high school. I used to say if I had a social life I
probably wouldn’t be a writer. [laughs] I started by writing short stories and even a novel in high
school. I remember clicking away on the keyboard of an old Brother Word Processor that my step-
father bought me. When I began screenwriting I started reading William Goldman’s “Adventures in
the Screen Trade,” a book every screenwriter should read. That really inspired me to start writing
scripts. Also, like Quentin Tarantino, I worked in a video store and I was able to get every movie I
could get my hands on for free. I watched everything that I could find.
I went to USC for grad school and got my Master’s in screenwriting.
